It’s taken me a few days to digest and comprehend all the vile, anti-American vitriol Trump wrote in 174 words on Memorial Day. At no point during his vicious attack on American values did Trump bother to mention the true meaning of Memorial Day, to honor all the service members who gave their life defending the United States Constitution.

“HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY TO ALL, INCLUDING THE SCUM THAT SPENT THE LAST FOUR YEARS TRYING TO DESTROY OUR COUNTRY 

Anyone opposed to Trump is automatically categorized by him with an insult. In this case, scum. Trump also can’t help himself and blame others for the way things are. His usual targets are either Biden or Obama. Biden defeated him in 2020 and Obama has constantly humiliated him. Obama’s most egregious fault is being black. The question that begs to be asked repeatedly in this post is why people who swore to uphold the Constitution would try to destroy the very country that elevated them to their heights.

 

THROUGH WARPED RADICAL LEFT MINDS, 

Trump considers anyone who disagrees with him as warped and radical. Liberals in particular are anathema to him because they stand in the way of his dream of white supremacy. 

WHO ALLOWED 21,000,000 MILLION PEOPLE TO ILLEGALLY ENTER OUR COUNTRY, 

Look at the number. I don’t think the self professed stable genius realizes what number he put down. “21,000,000 million people” is technically 21 quadrillion people. God forbid Trump proof read.

MANY OF THEM BEING CRIMINALS AND THE MENTALLY INSANE, 

This is a familiar tactic. Paint everyone Trump is afraid of with a large, all encompassing brush. By saying “many” he implies that there are a large number of them.  It’s a well worn fear tactic. By keeping it ambiguous, his minions can fill in the numbers with whatever they want without bothering to do a little research. That would blow their illusion by being forced to admit the vast majority are not criminals or mentally insane. By why let facts stand in the way of their fanaticism.

THROUGH AN OPEN BORDER THAT ONLY AN INCOMPETENT PRESIDENT WOULD APPROVE, 

Again, Trump calling his predecessors names. 

AND THROUGH JUDGES WHO ARE ON A MISSION TO KEEP MURDERERS, DRUG DEALERS, RAPISTS, GANG MEMBERS, AND RELEASED PRISONERS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD, IN OUR COUNTRY SO THEY CAN ROB, MURDER, AND RAPE AGAIN - 

Ask yourself, why would a judge want to keep criminals out of prison? Judges who are sworn to uphold the law. Judges whose very careers rely on the law. Trump then descends into his usual exaggeration, that judges want people to rob, murder, and rape. No judge wants that. By adding the word “again” at the end implies that they have done it before.

ALL PROTECTED BY THESE USA HATING JUDGES 

“USA hating judges?” Why? Trump builds the false case that any judge who opposes him is also against the US. What that does is plant the idea that Trump is always right and anyone who opposes him is not only wrong, but unpatriotic. That makes Trump the self appointed arbiter and litmus test for what is and is not American

WHO SUFFER FROM AN IDEOLOGY THAT IS SICK AND VERY DANGEROUS FOR OUR COUNTRY. 

Has Trump ever seen the movie Dead Poets Society? Robin Williams does a brief monologue against one of Trump’s favorite words, very. Here’s what the character John Keating, played by Williams, says about the word “very.” 

“Avoid using the word ‘very’ because it's lazy. A man is not tired, he is exhausted. Don’t use very sad, use morose. Language was invented for one reason, boys - to woo women - and, in that endeavor, laziness will not do. It also won’t do in your essays.”

Or when trying to persuade people if you’re the president. Trump is lazy. Instead of using “very dangerous” he could have used perilous or treacherous or destructive or harmful or jeopardize or deleterious or even deadly. But no, Trump, being the simpleton he is, uses “very dangerous.”

HOPEFULLY THE UNITED STATES SUPREME COURT, AND OTHER GOOD AND COMPASSIONATE JUDGES THROUGHOUT THE LAND, WILL SAVE US 

Here Trump is dividing the judges, and therefore the country, into those who agree with him and those who don’t. In his simple world, those who agree with him are good. Everyone else is bad. There is no inbetween.

FROM THE DECISIONS OF THE MONSTERS WHO WANT OUT COUNTRY TO GO TO HELL. 

Now we get into classic Trump. Those judges who rule against him are not only evil, they are monsters. But not just ordinary monsters, monsters that want the country to go to hell. Hell to Trump is anyone who stands in his way of absolute power.

BUT FEAR NOT, WE HAVE MADE GREAT PROGRESS OVER THE LAST 4 MONTHS, AND AMERICA WILL SOON BE SAFE AND GREAT AGAIN?

Now Trump relies on another of his over used tactics, he alone can save us. He alone is the reason that everything has changed. On the second point I agree. He alone is responsible for the mess we are in now. All the chaos. All the fear. All the uncertainty. It’s only been 4 months. Seems longer.

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY, AND GOD BLESS AMERICA!” 

No mention of veterans. No mention of sacrifice. This post was not about the United States, it was all about Trump, which in the end is all that matters to Trump.
